NORTH ANDOVER, MASS.—The Merrimack Women's Soccer team hit the road on the weekend, travelling to New Rochelle, to face Iona on Saturday morning with kickoff set for 11 AM.
Merrimack will look for another strong goaltending performance as
Addison Israel was named Metro Conference Defender of the week after a nine save performance and her first career clean sheet in the 0-0 draw with Saint Peter's last Saturday.
Merrimack and Iona have split their first two meetings in the last two seasons, with the Warriors storming to a 4-1 win in their last matchup last September.
Bella Keogh scored twice and Kyle Fuller had one of her own, while
Ava Lovergine,
Shea MacDougall, Lily Cook,
Liv Campbell and
Fallon Ryan all had assists.
