Women’s Volleyball Comes Up Short Against The Rams

STORRS, Conn. – The Merrimack College women's volleyball team fell to the Rhode Island Rams in straight sets (25-16, 25-11, 25-17) at the UConn Invitational on Friday afternoon.

Sophomore right side hitter Jocelyn Hammerstrand led the way for the Warriors, tallying six kills. Freshman middle blocker Kaitlyn Oxceus had herself a day behind the service line, recording a career-high four aces.

The Warriors return to the court when they square off with the host UConn Huskies on Saturday at noon.
