NORTH DARTMOUTH, MA – The Merrimack men's cross country team competed in the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday morning.

How it happened:
For the second week in a row, it was Aidan Dupill who led the way for the Warriors, and did so this time by breaking his own school record in the 8k, setting a new PR for himself at 24.39.24. Ben Rich was the next Warrior to place, finishing at 33rd with a time of 25.36.59. Followed by Sean Moore finishing 43rd with a time of 25.49.77, Reidar Aageson finished 59th with a time of 26.04.24, Trainor Mailloux finished with a time of 26.22.19, good for 76th place. The men as a unit finished in 7th place for the Gold event.
From head coach Chris Cameron: "Like the women, we had some good individual performances but fell short of our team expectations. The highlight for the men was Aidan Dupill's 4th place finish. His time of 24:39 broke his own 8,000 meter school record and was a new PR. The men's 1 - 5 pack is too large at the moment, and we will be using the next several weeks of training to focus on this."

In two weeks, the Warriors will head to Bethlehem, PA where they will compete in the Paul Short Invitational hosted by Lehigh University.
