Field Hockey Falls To Vermont

BURLINGTON, VT — The Merrimack College field hockey team came up short against the University of Vermont Catamounts in a 6-0 defeat on Tuesday afternoon.

Merrimack senior Darla Mahoney picked up her fifth defensive save of the season. The duo of sophomore goalkeeper Kayla Whites and junior goalkeeper Audra Szymborski combine for five saves on the contest.

The Warriors return to conference action when they host to Mercyhurst on Friday. The matchup will be hosted at Cushing Field Complex on the UMass Lowell campus with start time set for 7 p.m.
