Women's Soccer Hangs Tough With Rider

NORTH ANDOVER, MASS.--   The Merrimack College women's soccer team battled to the end but couldn't get past the Rider Broncs on Wednesday afternoon falling by a score of 2-1 at Martone-Mejail Field.

Rider opened the scoring in the second half and added another in the late stages, but Merrimack would make them sweat to the end when Bella Keogh's long range effort sailed into the top right corner in the final two minutes, but their final chance to tie sailed just wide in the final seconds.

Kaitlyn Brewi made five saves in the game, her third game in a row with five or more saves.
