Welcome to Merrimack College Club Baseball!
About
Merrimack College's Club Baseball team (MCCB) competes in the National Club Baseball Association (NCBA) in District I of Division III. We hold a roster of 25-30 individuals and practice twice a week on campus with games taking place on the weekends. Some of our opponents include University of Maine, University of Rhode Island, UMass Lowell, UMass Boston, Stonehill College, and Harvard University. The season spans across both the fall and spring semester. We play our home games at a handful of local high schools, depending on availability by weekend, but usually use the same field as our varsity team (off-campus). The skill level in our league is similar to that of competitive high-school baseball.

Additional Information
Tryouts are held the first or second week of the fall semester and the roster is set in stone for the full school year. Upon joining the team, players will receive a jersey (collected after fall semester, redistributed in spring, MUST be returned at end of season), hat, and undershirt. Team apparel store (UA Jungle as of right now) will open for a few weeks in the fall and the spring which will have other items like hoodies, shirts, caps, bags, accessories, etc. available for purchase. Bat and helmet are not required as we have team helmets and a team bat(s) but players are required to have their own glove and have white baseball pants (plain white or navy stripe, no other stripe colors). For on campus practices, turf shoes/plastic cleats/sneakers are permitted, and same goes for when we play on turf fields. When we play on dirt fields, metal cleats are allowed.
