About
Club Field Hockey is a club sport that allows any individual attending Merrimack College to practice and compete against other local colleges and universities in order to gain more field hockey experience and to
meet others with the common interest. We hold tryouts in order to join the team and play throughout the fall season. We have scheduled practices two to three times per week and scheduled games with flexible times in order to improve on our skills and to challenge ourselves. We travel and we host other schools for games to allow a more competitive experience. We also offer a moderate level of commitment when it comes to attendance of practices and games because we understand students have multiple commitments and we want an environment where everyone can unwind and have fun with playing a sport they enjoy! We are apart of the national field hockey league and don’t require a certain amount of experience for individuals to tryout.
