Entering his fourth year as the student assistant for the Merrimack Baseball College team, Anthony Fonte assists the coaching staff in all facets of the game, including on-field and off-field preparation and also serves as the Director of Baseball Operations.

A 2012 graduate of Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood, Massachusetts, Fonte was the varsity baseball manager for two years under Coach Gerry Lambert, helping the Hawks capture the 2012 Division 1 State Championship during his senior year. Fonte also was a Quincy Youth Baseball assistant travel baseball coach for the 2012 and 2013 summer seasons.

A native of Quincy, Massachusetts, Fonte plans on graduating from Merrimack in 2016 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He is the son of William and Andrea and has two siblings: Andrew (his twin brother), and Michael.
