  • Comes from a highly athletic family. Mother, Njeri, played lacrosse at Boston College and father, Al Jr., played basketball at Northeastern and UMass Boston. Brother, Alijah, played basketball at Canisius and Bard. Grandfather, Al Rue Sr., played basketball at Delaware State. Uncle, Dana Barros, played basketball at Boston College, then went on to have a 15-year NBA career
