Drew Bellamy, a 2015 Merrimack College graduate and former captain of the football program, will be in the midst of his second season on the coaching staff in 2018-19.
Bellamy made his return to the program as assistant offensive line coach in 2017, helping lead a unit that he once starred on. Merrimack's offensive line limited the opposition to only 14 sacks all season, the second-fewest in school history for a single season. That offensive line also helped Merrimack’s offense rank second in the NE10 in total yards per game (412.9) and rushing yards per game (144.6), as well as first downs per game. That offensive line was the unit in the NE10 that produced a 2,000-yard passer and 1,000-yard rusher, as well.
Bellamy graduated in the spring of 2015 from Merrimack with a degree in Sports Management.
