Stern returns to Merrimack after he spent the 2020-21 academic year as a graduate fellow on Michael Kamal's staff. 

He came to North Andover with a bevy of strength and conditioning experience. He most recently served as an assistant strength coach at Toyota Racing Development in Cornelius, N.C. and held strength and conditioning internships with the football teams at the University of North Carolina and the University of Iowa previously.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in Applied Exercise Science with a concentration in Sports Performance in May of 2020 from Springfield College in Springfield, Mass and earned his master's degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Merrimack in 2021.
