Lewis Bailey will be spending his fifth season as part of the Merrimack College football coaching staff in 2022, taking over as assistant linebackers coach after working as a positional coach for Merrimack's secondary in 2018-19.
Bailey guided Rodney Samson in 2021, as he claimed NEC first team all-conference honors following the season. He had 82 tackles on the year, including 3.5 tackles for a loss and a forced fumble.Â
Bailey helped Merrimack's cornerbacks total 10 interceptions in 2018, a figure that ranked fourth in the conference. Two of the Warriors' defensive backs earned all-conference accolades in the process.
Bailey graduated from Framingham State in 2015.Â
