Steve Muench is in his second season as part of the Merrimack College football coaching staff in 2019-20. He serves as the assistant offensive line coach.

Muench coached a pair of all-conference second team selections in 2018, as well as an offensive line that yielded only 17 sacks and helped produce 244.9 passing yards and 377.1 total yards per game, ranking second and fourth in the league in both categories, respectively. Merrimack was also a top-four team in the NE10 in red zone scoring, converting over 80 percent of its tries this season.
