Eric Manz enters his sixth year with the Merrimack College Athletic Department in 2020-21, serving as Assistant Athletic Trainer.

Manz boasts over seven years of collegiate athletic training at a variety of levels. With the Warriors, he provides athletic training coverage for all 24 varsity programs, working primarily with the men's ice hockey team.

Prior to joining Merrimack, Manz spent two years as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at St. Cloud State University from September 2013 to May 2015. There, he provided extensive coverage to their Division I women’s ice hockey team, as well as coverage to their spring football, tennis, golf, and Nordic ski teams.

Manz obtained his Masters of Science in Sport Psychology in May 2015 from St. Cloud State University after earning a Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Athletic Training from the University of Minnesota Duluth. During his last year at UMD, Manz was a senior athletic training student with Minnesota Duluth’s Division I women’s ice hockey team. He has also provided athletic training coverage to the NCAA Women’s Frozen Four as well as USA Hockey Girls’ Player Development Camps.

Manz is a certified athletic trainer with the Board of Certification. He also boasts a CPR/AED certification from the American Heart Association and a NATA membership.

A native of Willmar, Minnesota, Manz currently resides in North Andover.
