Bryan Brazill

Bryan Brazill concluded his ninth season serving as Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach in 2018-19 and oversaw the team's offense, which has traditionally been among the nation's elite since his arrival to the coaching staff. In addition to his role in leading the offense, Brazill also led the man-up unit and aids in recruiting, as well as many other aspects of the program.

Brazill has played an instrumental role in the development of several all-conference, all-region and All-American players over the years, as well as a number of major award winners, with recent honorees including two-time USILA National Player of the Year and Attackman of the Year Charlie Bertrand '20, Corey Lunney '13, USILA Co-Midfielder of the Year Tim Towler '17, and several other major accolades from the regional and conference level. Over the last four years alone, Merrimack has produced 28 All-Americans, 41 NE10 All-Conference selections, 48 NEILA All-New England honorees, four NEILA Players of the Year, nine First Team All-Americans, a two-time DII National Player of the Year, a DII Midfielder of the Year, a two-time DII Attackman of the Year, two NE10 Players of the Year and two NE10 Rookies of the Year from an offensive standpoint.

More importantly, Brazill's offensive schemes have led Merrimack to new heights in terms of team success over the years and that came to fruition in the 2018 and 2019 campaign after the Warriors captured back-to-back national championships and a third Northeast-10 Conference championship in 2018, as well as a regular season title in 2019. The team did so thanks to the nation's most dynamic and potent offense, with Brazill helped the unit finish both seasons ranked in the top-five nationally, including as high as third in 2019. Merrimack's man-up unit has been no slouch either, also ranking third at the end of the 2019 championship campaign. The program has qualified for each of the last five NCAA Tournaments -- a school record -- and Merrimack has reached the national championship game in each of the last three seasons (2017, 2018, 2019).

A Merrimack alum and former student-athlete on the men's lacrosse program, Brazill led the Warriors in scoring in his final two seasons and ranked in the top-10 nationally in 2004 and 2005.

Brazill was also the head coach at Haverhill High School after graduating, leading the program for four years. He was the 2009 Merrimack Valley Division II Coach of the Year, as well.

Brazill enjoyed a professional lacrosse stint at one point, playing overseas for the New South Wales state team in Australia. He also owns and operates Homegrown Lacrosse and Raptors lacrosse, running elite teams, camps, and other outdoor programs out of North Andover and Tewksbury.
