Evan Burokas begins his second season as an Assistant Men's Soccer Coach in 2017.
Burokas has gathered his USSF and NSCAA Licenses and has amassed 5 years of coaching experience with a variety of different colleges and club programs.
Coach Burokas spent 2013-2016 as the first assistant coach of the WPI Men’s Soccer Program. In 2014, WPI advanced to their programs first ever conference finals. He joined FC Boston this past winter and lead the U18 Metro West Boys to an undefeated spring season, claiming the U18 NEP Championship along the way. He also coached the U14 Central Girls to a Scorpions Bowl Championship and a third-place spring finish in the league while suffering only one defeat all season.
Burokas earned his MBA at Franklin Pierce University and his International Bachelors degree at Merrimack. As a player, Burokas was a Two-Time Daktronics All-Star (2010, 2011) Two-Time Northeast-10 Conference All Star (2010, 2011), NE-10 Assist Leader (2010), and Top-10 National Assist Leader (2010).
After a successful collegiate career, Burokas played three years of Semi Pro before earning his first professional three-year contract with Western Mass Professional Soccer Club of the ASL. In 2015, Burokas and his teammates team claimed the Eastern Conference Championship, and was an ASL National Finalist.
Burokas currently holds a full-time job as the assistant director for FC Boston in Central, MA where he overlooks player development and the Junior Academy program. In 2014, Burokas started a successful entrepreneurial business called Next Eleven Soccer Academy (NESA) where he dedicates his time to helping players of all ages and abilities properly develop their abilities on a soccer field.
