Alyssa DiMauro is in her first season as an assistant softball coach at Merrimack College, having followed head coach Jill Gagnon from Saint Anselm.
DiMauro spent one season as an assistant at Saint Anselm, helping the Hawks to a 23-16 record and an Northeast-10 Tournament berth.
Before joining Gagnon’s coaching staff at Saint Anselm, DiMaura played four years at Southern New Hampshire. She was a Northeast-10 All-Rookie
Team selection as a freshman and was an All-Conference Second Team pick in 2023. DiMauro appeared in 155 games for the Penmen in her career, batting .285 with 139 hits in four seasons.
DiMauro also excelled as a scholar. In the classroom, she earned a spot on the Southern New Hampshire President's List and was a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District selection.
The Chester, NH native has contributed on the diamond as a coach with several youth programs. She has spent time previously working with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats Youth Clinic and as an assistant coach for the NH Comets softball program based in Concord.
