Brianna Thomas begins her first season as an assistant coach with the Merrimack College women's basketball program in 2019-20.

Thomas arrived at Merrimack from Duquesne University by way of Ajax Ontario, Canada.  While coaching at Duquesne, Thomas was on the staff that lead the Dukes to their first WNIT sweet sixteen appearance in school history.  She would also breakdown game film and create content to send out to recruits.

While playing at Duquesne, Thomas was named a team captain in her junior and senior seasons.  During her junior year she lead the Dukes to their first NCAA tournament appearance.  During her tenure with the Dukes her teams amassed 89 wins, which is the second most in school history.  

Thomas graduated from Duquesne in 2016 with a degree in Psychology and then again in August of 2019 with a masters in Leadership.
