During his tenure at ENC, Dinh led the team to a New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Tournament Finals appearance and achieved an overall record of 36-36. His teams consistently ranked in the top 40 nationally in assists per game. In his inaugural year, Dinh guided the Lions to a regular season championship, earning NECC Coach of the Year honors. From 2017 to 2021, he served as an assistant coach at Gordon College, working under the program’s all-time career wins leader, Tod Murphy. During this time, Dinh was instrumental in the team’s success, contributing to a 60-32 record and helping the Fighting Scots reach the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) tournament semifinals twice, as well as the CCC tournament championship game. He recruited and developed several standout players, including a CCC Player of the Year, four All-CCC selections, and a NABC All-American who led the nation in scoring in 2020. His responsibilities extended beyond coaching, including recruiting, player development, fundraising, and serving as the assistant director for the summer boys’ basketball camp.

Dinh’s earlier coaching experience includes his role as an assistant coach at Norwich University from 2013 to 2017, where he worked under Paul Booth. At Norwich, Dinh was pivotal in recruiting and developing key talent, including three 1,000-point scorers, a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Year, and a three-time All-GNAC player. His responsibilities encompassed recruiting, video coordination, and player development.

Dinh began his collegiate coaching career in 2012 at Wheelock College, where he served as an assistant coach under Matt LeVangie. At Wheelock, he successfully recruited and developed three 1,000-point scorers, two of whom became three-time NECC All-Conference members, including the nation’s leader in assists per game for the 2016-2017 season.

Dinh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Movement Science with a concentration in Fitness & Wellness from Salem State University, earned in 2012. He later completed a Master of Science degree in Leadership from Norwich University in 2017.
