Steph Moberg enters her fifth season as Assistant Coach for the women's ice hockey team in 2020-21.

Moberg comes to North Andover after two years as the head coach of the Castleton women's ice hockey program, where she was able to lead the Spartans to unprecedented success during her short tenure in Vermont.

Last season, the Spartans received a national ranking from both D3hockey.com and USCHO.com polls for the first time in program history, reaching as high as sixth in the nation. Moberg led Castleton to the program's first wins over nationally ranked Middlebury and Norwich on their way to posting a school-record 17 victories. Moberg would coach three players to all-conference honors, including one All-American.

In 2014-15, Moberg led Castleton to a 14-12-2 record, leading the team to a No. 3 seed in its conference tournament and an upset in the semifinals to reach the NEHC Championship game in her first year at the helm.

Prior to Castleton, Moberg spent a season as an assistant coach with the Colby College women's ice hockey team. In her lone season with the Mules, she helped guide them to a 10-win campaign, including an upset of second-seeded Amherst in the NESCAC Quarterfinals. She also served as an assistant coach for two years at Connecticut College, where she helped lead the Camels to two winning seasons before heading to Colby.

A 2010 graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh, Moberg won NCAA Division III titles in 2007 and 2008 with the Cardinals; over her four years as a student-athlete, she helped the team post a remarkable 97-11-7 record. She was a two-time American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) First Team All-American in both 2009 and 2010 as well as a three-time ECAC West All-Academic Selection. She was also named the ECAC West Player of the Year in 2010 and finished as the runner-up for National Player of the Year that same season. 

Moberg has worked at numerous hockey camps in Toronto, Vancouver, Lake Placid, Princeton University, Hamilton College and Clarkson University. She has also been a USA Hockey National Camp intern coach (2011) and has been a USA Hockey New York District evaluator on three occasions.
