Olivia Shapiro is entering her third year with the Merrimack College Sports Medicine team. Shapiro primarily serves as the certified athletic trainer for women’s ice hockey and field hockey. She is a graduate of Merrimack College where she earned her M.S. in Athletic Training in 2022 and her B.S. in Health Science in 2020.  Prior to joining the staff at Merrimack, Olivia worked with the Athletic Healthcare team at University of Massachusetts-Lowell, as the certified athletic trainer for women’s basketball. 

Prior to her full time position at UMass Lowell, Shapiro completed clinical internships primarily with the women’s soccer team at UMass Lowell, as well as at the Noble and Greenough School in Dedham, MA and the Derryfield School in Manchester, NH.  

Shapiro is originally from Saratoga Springs, NY, and currently resides in North Andover, MA
