Biography

2017-18:

  • Silver Medalist in three different events at the CRASH-B World Championships
  • Raced as the stroke in all but one of Merrimack’s races in the 2017-18 campaign
  • Appeared in Merrimack’s top Varsity Fours Crew at the Head of the Charles (10/22), River Hawks Challenge (4/21), NE10 Challenge (4/28) and NERC (5/5) and the Dad Vail Regatta (5/11-12)
  • Also served as the stroke in the Warriors’ Varsity Eights crew that competed at the NE10 Challenge
  • Posted back-to-back bronze-medal winning races to close the spring at the NERC and the Dad Vail

2016-17:

  • Served as the stroke in all eight events for the Warriors this season
  • Won three events including a dual race against UMass Lowell (4/15)
  • Part of crew that posted a program-best 11th-place finish at the Head of the Charles to begin the season (10/23)
  • Registered a victory in the NE10 Cup over Assumption in the Warriors' lone Eights race of the season (4/29)

2015-16:

  • Lightweight U-23/College Event winner at the CRASH-B Sprints World Indoor Rowing Championships
  • Raced on the bow as part of Merrimack’s top-flight Varsity 4+ boat … Switched over to stroke on the Varsity 8s unit
  • Won two Varsity four events at the UMass Lowell Invitational  (4/16) and the Northeast-10 Cup (4/23)
  • Totaled second-place marks as UMass in Varsity Eights as well as at the Dad Vail Regatta’s Varsity Eight Division II Petite Final (5/10)

2014-15:

  • Remarkable debut campaign for the Warriors
  • Rowed as the Bow this past spring on Merrimack's Varsity 4s squad that was regionally and nationally ranked for much of the year
  • Raced to three first-place finishes
  • Took home second place at the Knecht Cup 
  • Ended the year with a silver medal at the Dad Vail Regatta, putting forth the squad's best time of the spring

Before Merrimack: Began rowing as a junior in high school at Wellington East Girls College ... Won the Bronze Medal at the New Zealand Rowing Nationals in 2013 ... Won a Top-10 badge at the Maadi Cup for U18 Double Sculls and Coxed Quadruple Sculls ... Two-year captain of the Star Boating Club/Wellington Club ... Also recruited by Miami, Syracuse and UMass Amherst
