Biography
2018-2019:
Indoor Track and Field:
- Competed in five meets as a freshman
- Posted one top-ten finish, competing in the 60 meter dash and the long jump
Outdoor Track and Field:
- Participated in six meets as a freshmen in outdoor, competing in the long jump, triple jump, and 4x100 relay
- Set a personal best in the triple jump, placing 16th at the NE10 Outdoor Championships with a distance of 9.96 meters
Before Merrimack:
- Competed in the Yale Invitational sophomore and senior year
- Indoor sectional champion in long jump sophomore and senior year
- Placed second in the outdoor sectionals for long jump sophomore and senior year; also recieved second for triple jump
- Six-year member of the varsity program at Scotia-Glenville
- Named most valuable field athlete for both indoor and outdoor senior year
Personal:
- Daughter of Jennifer and George Burns
- Has three other siblings; Conor, McKenzie and Zachary
