Jake Blaisdell joined the Merrimack Sports Performance staff in July of 2025 as the Assistant Director of Sports Performance, Blaisdell oversees Merrimack’s Football Sports Performance along with Track and Field Throws.

Blaisdell was a graduate fellow at Merrimack during the 2025 year where he graduated with a Masters in Health and Human Performance. Prior to arriving at Merrimack, he was an intern at The University of Kansas, The United States Naval Academy, Cornell University, and Lenoir-Rhyne University. 

A native of Keene, New Hampshire, Blaisdell earned a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science with a Concentration in Strength and Conditioning from Ithaca College. He was a four year Leadership Scholar member, and also conducted Biomechanic Research under Dave Diggin, Ph.D. and Deborah King, Ph.D.

Blaisdell is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is CPR/AED certified through the Red Cross

Blaisdell and his Fiance Emilyann Ashford, a former Volleyball player at Keene State, live in Medford, Massachusetts.
