The Warriors welcome Jalen Scott-Jones as the founding coach for the women’s bowling program. Merrimack will begin competing as a Northeast Conference bowling squad as a winter sport during the 2022-23 season. Scott-Jones comes to Merrimack after serving as a graduate assistant coach and interim head coach at Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee and previously as an assistant coach at Franklin Pierce. While at Franklin Pierce, he coached an East Coast Conference finalist as well as a top-seven Intercollegiate Singles Championship while his squad defeated then-No. 1 Vanderbilt. 

As a student-athlete, Scott-Jones competed at Vincennes University in Indiana where he was an NJCAA National Bowling Champion and earned NJCAA Nationals MVP. He was also a two-time NJCAA First Team All-American and Academic All-American. While at Webber International University, he was a starter on the No. 1 Varsity team in the country and a member of eight championship teams and First-Team All-Tournament at the Florida Seminole Classic.
