Nicholas White was hired as the Merrimack College assistant baseball coach in August 2026.

White arrived at Merrimack after he spent two seasons on the coaching staff of the University of Maine Black Bears. During his time at Maine, White worked with outfielders, hitters and baserunners and helped 14 players earn America East All-Conference honors. His coaching tenure started after White played at Maine where he was a two-year captain and starter. He also was named to the 2023 America East All-Tournament Team and helped the Black Bears win the conference tournament and earn a regional birth at Miami. 

White's college career started under head coach Jeff Mejia at Northern Essex Community College. White was a two-time Junior College All-American, helping lead the Knights to a World Series.
