Rachel Perry enters her second season as the head coach of the Merrimack College field hockey team in 2025.
Perry's first season was highlighted by a season finale win over NEC newcomer Mercyhurst, 2-0, to close out the year. Prior to taking over the reigns at Merrimack she was an assistant coach for the Warriors during the 2023 season. While the lead assistant, Perry oversaw recruiting efforts and all team operations during the 2023 campaign.
Before her time at Merrimack, she appeared in 54 career games as a player for Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. She was named a captain of the Crusaders during her senior season. Perry's coaching experience also includes the head coach of the Cape Ann Field Hockey Club from 2017-2024. She has developed players to go on to play at all collegiate levels. Perry has served as their director of youth and academy programs since 2020.
Perry completed her bachelor's degree in psychology from Holy Cross in 2022. In her senior year with the Crusaders she was named to the Patriot League Honor Roll, as well as the NFHCA National Academic Squad.
