Tommaso Bucci

Tommaso Bucci has joined the women's hockey staff as an assistant coach ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.

"I am fortunate to bring Tommaso to our team." said, Hamlen.  "A relationship-builder and someone with a passion to develop players to potential, [Tommaso] will make an impact immediately. His experiences in the Division 1 hockey world and post-collegiate career along with his years coaching D1 women's hockey, all lend to his trajectory for success at Merrimack."
 
Bucci played four years at Mercyhurst University, logging 103 career games and 29 points in his collegiate career, and he also played one season of professional hockey for the SPHL's Pensacola Ice Flyers in 2019-20, putting up 31 points in 46 career games, he was also named to the SPHL's All-Rookie Team that season. Bucci joined his alma mater women's coaching staff in 2022, spending two years as an assistant coach. The Lakers reached the CHA championship final in both seasons.
