Victoria Lux begins her second year as a part of the Merrimack coaching staff in 2025-2026. She helped lead the Warriors to a MAAC semifinals appearance in her first season in North Andover. Lux also brings five years of prior collegiate coaching experience to the Merrimack staff.
Prior to Merrimack, Lux was a part of the Cornell University women’s basketball staff as an assistant coach for the 2023-2024 season, where she focused on post player development, assisted in recruiting, created game scouts and video breakdown. Prior to her season at Cornell, she served as an assistant coach at Ivy opponent Dartmouth College, where she worked with post players, assisted in recruiting efforts, scouts and video. Prior to her season at Dartmouth, she served as an assistant coach at MIT, where she was responsible for player development, game scouts, travel, food, among many other responsibilities. During Lux’s time at MIT, she helped develop a Conference and Regional Player of the Year, Christina Antonakakis from 2021-2022. In 2022, Lux was honored with being named a WBCA Thirty Under Thirty Coach. The WBCA Thirty Under Thirty Program recognizes up and coming women’s basketball coaches under the age of thirty at all levels of the game. Prior to MIT, she served as a graduate assistant coach at Regis College from 2019-2021, where she had many responsibilities such as player development, game scouts, video, team travel, and food.
Lux graduated from Bentley University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and a double minor in Sports Management and Sociology in 2019. At Bentley, Lux was a four year scholarship member of the Bentley women’s basketball program under hall of fame head coach, Barbara Stevens. During Lux’s playing career at Bentley, she accumulated 1,000+ points, finished her collegiate career as a top-five rebounder in program history (940) and earned NE-10 First Team All- Conference in her junior season. The Falcons had several NE-10 conference appearances, regional appearances, NCAA Elite 8 win, and a NCAA Final Four appearance throughout Lux's years in blue and white. Lux was also named captain in the 2018-2019 season. After completing her bachelor’s degree, Lux went on to complete her Master’s Degree in Strategic Sports Communications at Regis College from 2019-2021.
After Lux finished her collegiate playing career at Bentley, she competed at the semi-professional level. She played in the WABA League for the New England Trailblazers, where she helped lead the team to a Final Four appearance in 2021.
