Freshman guard Karlee Thomas of the women's basketball program was named Fuddruckers Female Athlete of the Week after she burst onto the scene last Saturday against UNH, leading Merrimack to victory against the Wildcats

Playing in just her second collegiate game, Thomas scored 18 points off the bench to lead Merrimack to the victory over the America East foes; she was part of the Warriors' first-ever home win against a Division I opponent last Saturday, shooting 5-of-8 from the field and 7-of-8 from the free-throw line.
