Junior Tommy Rooney of the Merrimack College men's lacrosse program has been named the Dunkin' Athlete of the Week after he led the Warriors with six points on four goals and two assists in the team's 16-8 win over UMass Lowell Saturday. 

The transfer leads the team in scoring with 10 points in just two games, which includes a team-best eight goals. His numbers so far also include team-highs in man-up goals (2) and shots (21).
