Junior forward Ludvig Larsson (Malmo, Sweden) of the Merrimack College men's ice hockey team has been named Fuddruckers Athlete of the Week.

Larsson had arguably his most productive two-game weekend as a Warrior after finishing with five points over the weekend against Providence. Those five points were the most by any player nationally over the weekend, as Larsson potted three goals and added two helpers to help the Warriors pick up a point in the league standings.

A career-best four of those five points came in Saturday's 6-6 tie against Providence (2g, 2a). Larsson doubled his point production on the season in two games, going from five points to 10 after the weekend. The junior is up to 10 points (4g, 6a) on the year in 12 games; he had 16 points in 30 games last year. 

Larsson and the rest of the Warriors are off for Thanksgiving but resume Hockey East play next weekend with a home-and-home series against Northeastern. The series starts at Matthews Arena on Dec. 1 before concluding at Lawler Rink the following night.
