Freshman Travis Hunt of the Merrimack College men's track & field team has been named this week's Fuddruckers Male Athlete of the Week, after being named Northeast 10 Track Rookie of the Week.

The Woburn, Massachusetts native broke a school record in the shot put event at the Reggie Poyau Memorial at Brandeis University Saturday. Hunt had a distance of 13.74 meters, which also won him the event.

The Warriors return to action on Saturday, Jan. 20 at the Bowdoin Invitational in Brunswick, Maine for an all day event.
