Last Time Out:

  • Freshman Colleen Ellis (Westford, Mass.) and senior Mikayla Panneton (Andover, Mass.) combined for the first goal of the night to stake Merrimack to a 1-0 advantage. Panneton broke in on an odd-man rush, delivering a crossing pass that Ellis buried for her third goal of the season
  • Led by the nation's leading scorer in Kacie Smith, the Skyhawks broke a 1-1 deadlock in the second half to secure the lead for good
  • Freshman Serena Rousseau (Plaistow, N.H.) netted her second goal in the last three games late in the final stanza, but Merrimack's comeback bid halted there
Mack Facts:
  • Senior Rylie Hammond (Phillipston, Mass.) ranks third in the conference in both goals (17) and points (36), pacing Merrimack in both statistics. She currently boasts the fourth-highest single-season goal output in program history, while her 36 points are the seventh-most in a single year
  • The Phillipston native's 2.57 points per game average is the third-highest in the country, and would be the second-highest single-season total in school history
  • Sophomore Katharina Ohmen (Bremen, Germany) has set a career high with 99 saves through 14 appearances, while also is a new personal best. She will become the fourth NE10 keeper this season to reach 100 stops, boasting the fourth-most saves in the league
Inside the Series:
  • Paced by goals from junior Mary McNeil (Canton, Mass.), senior Rylie Hammond (Phillipston, Mass.) and freshman Emma Dutremble (Dayton, Maine), the Navy and Gold bested AIC, 3-1, earlier this season in a non-league contest in Springfield
