NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College men's ice hockey program has teamed up with the NESN (New England Sports Network), announcing a broadcast agreement on Thursday that includes three home games set to be aired nationally on the top-rated regional sports network in New England during the 2017-18 season.
The Warriors will play three games in total on NESN beginning on Saturday, Nov. 18, against Providence College at 7 p.m. from Lawler Rink. Later in the year, the Warriors will also appear on NESN against Vermont (Jan. 27) and UMass Lowell (Feb. 23). All three games will be also be available on
NESN National.
NESN has a long-standing partnership with Hockey East that dates back to the league's first season (1984/85). NESN will once again televise the Hockey East Tournament championship weekend, plus several other Hockey East schools will be partnering with NESN to broadcast Hockey East action this season.
All aforementioned games on NESN will be 7 p.m. puck drops. All home games are also broadcast live on the
Merrimack Sports Network at a pay-per-view rate of $6.95/game; fans may also purchase a 2017-18 All-Access Season Pass for $99.95, or a monthly recurring subscription for $10.95. Both the All-Access Season Pass and recurring monthly subscription include access to all video content and archived material on the Merrimack Sports Network.
