Rapid Recap
  • Playing without a full lineup and counting each doubles flight as one overall point, the Warriors entered singles facing a 2-1 deficit. Clontz and Grill won the second flight, 8-4, playing in their first match together as a pairing. For Grill, it marked his first appearance in a dual match this year
  • Koch took the courts at the third flight of singles, and lost just a single game in his opening set before clinching the flight, 6-3, in the second frame. The rookie ended the fall with a 5-2 singles record overall
  • The top-two flights went the distance, with freshman Jonathan Garcia winning his second set, 6-1, to force a third. Junior Alex Fedorov did the same at second singles, topping his opponent, 6-2, to force a winner-take-all third frame
  • Freshman Andre Singer (No. 4), Grill (No. 5) and junior Paul Weidinger (No. 6) rounded out the singles lineup, while freshman Marshall Wood joined Fedorov at third doubles
