RINDGE, N.H. – The Merrimack College women's tennis program picked up its fifth win over its last six contests, 6-1, over Franklin Pierce University on Wednesday afternoon in Rindge, N.H. The Warriors improved their Northeast-10 Conference record to 6-1 with the victory, while the Ravens fell to 2-4.

- The Warriors varied up their lineup Wednesday, sweeping doubles and winning all but one singles flight. Junior Roberta Marcos and senior Meredith Wedro posted a 6-2 win at third doubles to pick up the team's first win, while sophomore Cassie Restrepo and freshman Kristina Calistro followed suit with a 6-4 win at No. 2 to give Merrimack the doubles point
- Senior Mana Seifaei and freshman Rosemary Campanella made it a doubles sweep by outlasting the Ravens at the top flight, 7-5
- In singles, Campanella blanked her opponent (6-0, 6-0) at the fourth flight and Seifaei won at No. 1, 6-0 and 6-1, to move the Warriors within a point of the match
- Restrepo clinched the match with a triumph at No. 3, 6-1 and 6-2. Freshman Hope Salts did not lose a game (6-0, 6-0) at the fifth flight while junior Mia Briggs won at No. 6 (6-0, 6-1)
