NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The No. 4 Merrimack College field hockey team will be looking to end its two-game losing streak with a win on the road against Adelphi University in the final game of the regular season. The game is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start time at Motamed Field in Garden City, N.Y.
Inside the Series:
- The Warriors have a 10-3 all-time record against Adelphi.
- Merrimack has not lost to Adelphi since Adelphi was ranked eighth in the nation in 2014.
- The Warriors defeated the Panthers last season, 3-2, at home on Senior Day on a last-minute goal by junior Lindsey Nolte that clinched a playoff spot for Merrimack

- Junior goalkeeper Katharina Ohmen ranks fourth in the NE10 and eighth in the country in goals against average (1.45); she ranks third in the NE10 in both save percentage (.788) and goals against (22) and her save percentage is good for fifth best in the country
- Senior captain Mary McNeil scored her 40th goal of her career on Tuesday night, making her the first ever player in program history with 40 career goals and 40 career assists. She leads her team in goals (16), assists (12), and points (44) while also ranking second in the country in assists per game (.75), and points per game (2.63)
- Merrimack ranks fourth in the country in Division II and is currently second in the NE10 rankings. With a win on Saturday, the Warriors will secure second place in the conference. Regardless of Saturday's result, Merrimack will host a NE10 Quarterfinal on Tuesday at Duane Staidum
- As a team, Merrimack ranks second in the country in goals per game (3.69), points per game (9.44), save percentage (.825), scoring average (3.64), scoring margin (2.53), winning percentage (.875), and first in penalty corners per game (13.50)
- Senior captains McNeil and Delaney Yule were named to the 2018 Victory Sports Tours / National Field Hockey Coaches Association Senior Game; fellow senior captain Samantha Bartush was named as an alternate player and could be added to the roster as the game nears on Friday, Nov. 30th, at Duquesne University

Merrimack will host a quarterfinal playoff game for the NE10 Conference tournament on Tuesday at Duane Stadium. An opponent as well as the official game time will be announced this weekend.
