URI Coaches Tribute
NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College men's track & field team competed in multiple locations over the weekend, with some impressive performances at both events.

URI Coaches Tribute:
- The 4x400-relay team of Patrick Forrest, Connor Murphy, Jacob Robinson, and Eric Rosario won with a time of 3:23.37, setting a new indoor record.
- Christian Gentile placed second in the 3000-meter race, with a time of 8:59.46.
- In the mile run, Matt Reimels finished fourth, coming in with a time of 4:30.67.
- In the shot put, Ryan Nesta had a throw of 12.45 meters for a personal record. Travis Hunt and Jake Fogarty were right behind their teammate with throws of 12.42-meters and 12.20-meters, respectively.
- Jack Letellier had an 11th place finish in the 800-meter event, with a time of 2:05.08.
David Hemery Valentine Invitational:
- Rosario ran a personal-best and set a new school record in the 400-meter race, coming in at a time of 48.73 seconds. The time put him third on the NE10 list for the season. Forrest ran a pair of personal bests in the 400-meter (49.04) and 200-meter race (22.18).
- In the mile run, Niall Coughlin ran a season-best 4:16.32. Murphy ran the 800-meter in 1:55.65.

Merrimack will compete in the NE10 Indoor Championships next weekend in Northampton, Massachusetts on the campus of Smith College for the two-day event.
