BOSTON, Mass. – The Merrimack College men's and women's track & field teams competed in the final indoor meet before the NCAA Championships at the Last Chance Race hosted by Boston University. It was among multiple Division I, II, and III programs.

Event Highlights:
- Freshman Calene Lazare placed third in the 200m dash, coming in at a time of 24.83 seconds.
- Junior Michaela Pernell finished fourth in the 60m dash, finishing with a time of 7.64 seconds. Lazare placed sixth in the event with a time of 7.79 seconds.
- The 4x400 relay team consisting of Patrick Forrest, Connor Murphy, Jacob Robinson, and Eric Rosario broke a school record in the event, along with a fifth place finish. Their time was 3:15.07.
- Trevor Ciempa had a clearance of 2.01m in the high jump and placed sixth. Lauren MacGregor had a ninth place finish in the triple jump, with a final jump of 11.55m.
- Senior Keith Steinbrecher had a school record in the mile run with a time of 4:11.72. Classmate Christian Gentile also had a personal record in the mile with a time of 4:20.63.
- Niall Coughlin had a personal best of 1:56.04 in the 800m race.
