NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The #24 Merrimack College Softball team will open its home schedule a week earlier than expected. With its original doubleheader against Bentley University on Wednesday, March 21
st being on the road, the series has changed to a single-game at Martone-Mejail Field at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20 due to impending weather. This is the Warriors first game at a new facility and will be the first time Merrimack College has provided a regular season live video broadcast of a softball game. The other two games of the series will be made up at a later date to be announced.

Last Time Out:
- The Warriors split their series with Molloy, winning game one 5-2, before dropping game two, 4-2. Senior Megan Cook picked up her sixth win of the year in the circle, going the full seven innings, striking out five, while allowing two runs in the first game. Junior Kristina Terrazzano picked up her first-career home run, along with a pair of hits in the victory.
- In the second game, senior Courtney Zambello took the tough complete game loss in the circle. Sophomore Tiffany Mangiameli had a RBI in the game, while scoring a run. Senior Breanna Dupuis scored the other run for the Warriors.
'Mack Facts:
- The Warriors are ranked 24th in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches' Association (NFCA) poll.
- Cook leads the pitching staff with a 6-0 record, with five complete games and three shutouts. She has a 0.95 ERA, 49 strikeouts, and a pair of saves. She has only walked five hitters. Freshman Bridget Soraghan has made four appearances, with two saves and has 10 strikeouts.
- Senior Brooke Bogacz is second on the team with a 1.79 ERA and a 3-0 record in six games. She has tossed 15.2 innings and has struck out five batters.
- Senior Alyssa Williamson leads the offense with 21 hits. She has a .467 batting average and 11 RBI. Juniors Caitlin McBride and Emily Kurkul each have a pair of home runs. McBride also leads the team with 12 RBI.
Bentley
- The Warriors lead the all-time series 56-13 based on available records. They have won four of the last five meetings against the Falcons. The Falcons enter the game with a 2-9 record.
- Juliana Romeo leads the team with 14 hits and a .378 average and a slugging percentage of .459. She also has the team's lone home run. Stephanie McQuaid has a team-high five RBI.
- Ashley Keegan has made four starts with six appearances in the circle with a 2-3 record. She has a 1.53 ERA and nine strikeouts. Lauren Calabrese has seven appearances and four starts. She has fanned 20 batters with a 0-4 record.
