BEVERLY, Mass. – Playing the singles venue first due to court availability, the Merrimack College men's tennis team took a 4-2 lead into the doubles portion, and proceeded to claim the first two flights to down Bentley University, 6-3, from the Bass River Tennis Club on Tuesday afternoon. With the win, the Warriors captured their third straight win and improved to 4-0 in Northeast-10 Conference play.

- The Warriors utilized the same lineup in their previous two victories, and saw senior Mikhail Belov, sophomore Denis Davydov and senior Frank Vega earn sweeps at first, second and fourth singles, respectively
- Junior Alex Fedorov posted a three-set win at third singles, guaranteeing a Merrimack lead entering doubles. Fedorov recovered from a first-set defeat, winning the middle from in a tiebreak (7-1) before a convincing 6-1 triumph in the third set
- The top doubles pairing of Belov and junior Tyler Clontz clinched the victory, winning by a 9-7 margin. Davydov and Fedorov claimed an 8-2 win at No. 2 doubles for the Navy and Gold's sixth and final point
- Fedorov boasts a perfect 8-0 NE10 record through four league matches, while the senior tandem of Belov and Vega are both perfect in singles play (4-0)
