Rapid Recap
- Merrimack made one tweak to its doubles lineup, pairing seniors Mikhail Belov and Frank Vega together for the first time since ITA Regionals. The duo played the Panthers' top pairing closely, falling by an 8-6 margin
- Junior Alex Fedorov joined sophomore Denis Davydov at the second flight (8-6), and junior Tyler Clontz reunited with sophomore Paul Weidinger at No. 3 flight (8-5), with each match going in Middlebury's favor
- Merrimack's seniors played well in the singles realm. Belov took on Middlebury's top option, who owned a 13-7 record on the year. Each set went to a 12th game (7-5, 7-5), but the Panthers took the point
- Vega won his first set in a tiebreak at fourth singles, 7-6 (7-4), to pick up the Warriors' lone set win of the match. Middlebury's No. 4 option recovered to win the next two sets, however, to claim the final point of the day
