David LeFebvre: "Today's result is a very good indicator for where we stand in New England and gives us a goal for the New England Rowing Championships (NERC) in two weeks. We expect to see both crews [Bowdoin, UMass Lowell] in the grand finals of the NERC.

- Merrimack's top crew started the morning with a heat against UMass Lowell, Middlebury and Maine, with the top-three finishers advancing to the final. The Warriors recorded a time of 6:39.1, finishing second behind the River Hawks to advance
- The final featured six programs, with the Warriors safely securing a top-three finish, beating fourth-place Middlebury by seven seconds.
- The Navy and Gold's "B" Varsity Fours crew also took the water, collecting a fourth-place ranking in a race against UMass Lowell, Bowdoin "A", Bowdoin "B" and Endicott
