Coaches Corner
Head Coach David LeFebvre: "What a way to cap off the year! After an up and down year -going all the way back the Head of the Charles last October- to come away with Bronze medals at the most competitive DII rowing event in the USA is particularly sweet. All year, I saw glimpses of top class boat speed in practice, but it never came out on race day. Something clicked in the last 10 days where we were able to gain speed every day. Two weeks ago we lost to Jefferson by 6 seconds at the NE10 Invite. We flipped that in our favor and beat them by 6 seconds at the Dad Vail. The Bronze at last week's New England Rowing Championships was a real confidence boost, and we approached the Dad Vails with a chip on our shoulder. We went in seeded 5th, but knew that if we raced our own race we could do better. I am so proud of these Warriors!
