WORCESTER, Mass.. – The Merrimack College women's tennis team entered five pairings into Saturday's Holy Cross Doubles Invitational at the Sinnott Family Tennis Facility in Worcester, Mass. The duos played 14 combined matches, registering a 12-2 combined record, and four of Merrimack's five entries completed the invitational without losing a match.

Top Performers
- Four other programs joined the Warriors and the host Crusaders: Franklin Pierce, Bentley, Assumption and Nichols
- Merrimack's top pairing of senior Mana Seifaei and freshman Kristina Calistro bested the top options from Bentley (8-4), Nichols (8-6) and Franklin Pierce (4-1). The contest against the Ravens ended in a forfeit with Merrimack ahead by three games
- The second entry featured sophomore Cassie Restrepo and freshman Rosemary Campanella. Their victories came against Holy Cross (8-5), Assumption (8-3) and Nichols (8-4)
- Senior Lauren Persson and junior Mia Briggs joined the top-two pairings with perfect 3-0 days, winning third-pairing matches against Assumption (8-4) and Holy Cross (8-4). They also topped the Crusaders' fourth entry, 8-0
- The Warriors' fifth partnership, senior Meredith Wedro and freshman Hope Salts, won an 8-4 tilt against Holy Cross and bested Nichols, 8-5
- Junior Roberta Marcos and sophomore Abbie Sartori marked the program's other entry in the bracket, boasting an 8-3 triumph over Holy Cross
