NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The No. 7 Merrimack College field hockey team will face American International in its first Northeast-10 Conference game of their 2018 campaign tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m. at Merrimack Stadium. The Warriors, who are on a three-game winning streak, defeated the Yellow Jackets, 6-0, when they clashed earlier this season.
Last Time Out:
- Merrimack defeated Franklin Pierce, 3-0, on Tuesday for its first road win of the season
- Senior Samantha Bartush led Merrimack offensively, scoring two goals to help the Warriors earn their fourth win of the season. She is now tied for the third highest points total on the team with eight
- Junior Jessica Palmer scored the other Merrimack goal, netting home a rebound early in the game. Palmer now has four goals on the season
- Seniors Delaney Yule and Mary McNeil both helped facilitate the offense, recording one assist each. McNeil now leads Merrimack in goals and assists, posting 5 of each this season.

- McNeil is leading the nation in assists per game (1.00), pacing a very offensively potent Merrimack squad. The Warriors are third in the nation in scoring average (4.80) and also hold the country's second best scoring margin (4.00). After a 16-point campaign as a junior, McNeil is already within three points of besting that output. The Canton, Mass. native leads Merrimack in goals (5) and points (14), and is tied for the team high in assists (4)
- Junior goalkeeper Katharina Ohmen has also posted impressive statistics this season for the Warriors. She leads all Division ll keepers with a .900 save percentage. Ohmen is also fourth in the nation in goals against average (0.80) and seventh in the nation in saves per game (7.20).The Warriors' 5.25 goals per game is the second highest scoring average in the nation. - As a team, Merrimack is among Division ll's best in multiple statistical categories. The Warriors are fourth in assists per game (2.80), third in goals against average (.80), and third in points per game (12.40).
