NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College women's tennis program ended its fall season by recording its fifth dual-match win in as many tries, 5-2, against Assumption College. The contest was played indoors at Spark Fitness & Tennis in Andover, Mass.

- Merrimack won the doubles point by claiming the second and third flights. Sophomore Rosemary Campanella and freshman Kelly Klaren posted a 6-2 win at No. 2 while senior Mia Briggs and sophomore Hope Salts won at No. 3, 6-3
- The Warriors won flights No. 2-5 to claim the thiree-point win in the match; Assumption won by retirement at the top flight and a two-set match at sixth singles
- Klaren dominated at fourth singles, dropping just two combined games in a 6-1 and 6-1 victory. Salts and Campanella each posted three-set victories, prevailing in the 10-point tiebreaker in each instance. Freshman Alyson Nerf edged her opposition, 7-6, in the first set before a 6-1 win in the second frame
