Men’s Soccer Stays Perfect in Conference Play with Win over Saint Francis

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – For the second game in a row a penalty kick in the first half by senior Mirko Nufi is the difference in victory for Merrimack College over Saint Francis University.  A hand ball in the box provided the opportunity for the senior to put the Warriors up one.  Nufi lined the kick up and put it home towards the bottom left corner of the net.  With the win, Merrimack is now 5-0 in Northeast Conference (NEC) play and 7-3-2 overall on the season.

Head Coach Tony Martone registered his 399th career win on Sunday, 392 of which have come at the Division II level. Martone will go for career win No. 400 on Sunday at home against Mount Saint Mary's.
