BOSTON, Mass. – The Merrimack College women's rowing program made its return to the Head of the Charles Regatta this weekend – racing in the Women's Varsity Club Fours event in one of the nation's most prominent events. The Warriors posted a time of 21.11.488, besting multiple other Division I crews including representatives from Manhattan and Bryant.

- Merrimack's first event of the year saw the Warriors hit the water at the Head of the Charles for the first time since 2017, and for the fifth time overall in program history
- Sophomore Meghan Smith took over as the program's top coxswain on its fours crew while junior Audrey Regan and senior Rebecca Donahue manned the third and second seat, respectively
- Freshmen Samantha Finn (stroke) and Laney Tillman (bow) made their Merrimack debuts in the race, as well
- Merrimack cleared the next closest crew – from Connecticut College – by over 10 seconds. The Warriors were 20 seconds and 30 seconds, respectively, ahead of both the Jaspers and Bulldogs

Head Coach David LeFebvre: "We had a great outing today at the Head of the Charles. The weather was perfect, and the girls went fast. We passed several boats on our way to a solid D1 debut."
